GPSit Announces SmartBoard Technology for "TrackFusion" and Sendum PT200 Tracking Solutions

SAN DIEGO -- GPS International Technologies Inc. (GPSit), a leading provider of location-based security solutions and tracking devices, today announces market release of its patented SmartBoard[TM] technology to the company's family of tracking products. Intended for covert use by law enforcement, investigators, government agencies and businesses, SmartBoard detects the presence of motion, light or heat and communicates that information to the GPSit TrackFusion [TM] tracking system.

"It can be hidden within, for example, a coil of copper tubing or other product packages and automatically activates when it senses movement, temperature change or light, thus indicating the product is being moved. SmartBoard, a proprietary company technology that can be used with GPSit's FS1 or Sendum PT200 devices, extends battery life for prolonged periods of operation and communicates the location and status of products being monitored through a built-in 2.4 GHz transmitter. It can automatically turn on infrared lighting for better surveillance and includes a built-in radio frequency directional finder for optimum tracking.

Smart Board features and sensitivity adjustments can be controlled from the GPSit’s TrackFusion secure website. Temperature, vibration and light sensing alerts can be configured to automatically send an email alert or SMS text message to a cell phone or computer.

FS1 tracking devices provide precise assisted GPS location information by way of a timed synchronized system. GPSit's exclusive TrackFusion software plots the exact location onto digital maps available with satellite view from the GPSit website continuously, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
